Within Jamaican society, where many people are recreationally consuming cannabis, smoking has become legal. The new ganja law was passed on February 6th 2015. Locals and tourists alike no longer have to worry to get arrested for smoking a spliff. It is also a great opportunity for many Jamaicans to create additional income.
